I got some good photos of the underside of the clouds - my fault for taking the camera out a god-awful o’clock ; at least I didn’t buy a new telescope, which would have guaranteed a month of “sturm und drang”.
There are occasional claims that eclipses can trigger EQs, but TTBOMK, if anything there is a very small association between major EQs and the Sun and Moon being at quadrature - which is literally 90 degrees to the position of the Moon when there is an eclipse. The thinking being that the stresses were at an angle to the dominant gravitational stress.
Has this (weak) association been strengthened through the years, or faded back into statistical noise?
